Mommy and Me: Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and Beyond

This “mommy and me” style music class will nurture your child’s natural musicality as well as strengthen the bond between parent and child through music! Your child will explore his or her vocal abilities and have the opportunity to play instruments such as egg shakers and drums. Activities will include bouncing to the steady beat of a variety of repertoire, simple clapping songs and games, various movement activities, lullabies, and much more! Children learn through exploration and modeling, so come explore the joy of music with your little one!

***John M. Feierabend, PhD, is considered one of the leading authorities on music and movement development in early childhood. He is a Professor of Music Education at The Hartt School of the University of Hartford and is a past President of the Organization of American Kodály Educators. He has given presentations in all 50 states and many other countries. He is the author of over 70 books, recordings, and DVDs, several of which served as the inspiration for the award winning PBS children’s television series Lomax: The Hound of Music.
